23.12.2018 — It is traditionally celebrated at midnight on Christmas Eve, in various locations in the Capital. 'Czech Christmas Mass', also known as Hej mistře! ('Hey Master!'), popularly called Rybovka, and in Latin Missa solemnis Festis Nativitatis D. J. Ch. acomodata in linguam bohemicam musicam, abriviated to Missa pastoralis bohemika, is a Czech religious composition written by Jakub Jan Ryba. It is the first written liturgical composition in Czech. Rybovka is a pastoral play set in Czechia that narrates the story of the Annunciation of Christ's birth and the arrival of shepherds to the manger in the stable. It was composed in 1796 and hand-written copies quickly spread throughout the Kingdom of Bohemia. The original score has not been preserved, and the versions that are played today are compiled based on critical analyses of the hand-written copies.

1.12.2007 — Zítra 2. prosince 2007 se v tenisovém areálu Club Hotelu Praha uskuteční 11. ročník mezinárodního halového turnaje v tenise na vozíku „Prague Cup Czech Indoor 2007.“ Hlavní město Praha je spolupořadatelem této akce a na jedenáctý ročník poskytlo 350 tisíc korun. Pražský primátor Pavel Bém se zítra zúčastní finálového zápasu dvouhry hlavní kategorie mužů, následně pak ve 14.30 hodin vyhlásí výsledky a předá ceny vítězům mužské dvouhry i čtyřhry.

3.9.2019 — The theme of Science Festival 2019 is science in professions. Science Festival ('Festival vědy' in Czech) is a joint project by universities, academic and leisure institutions. It will take place on the 4th of September this year.

12.6.2024 — V sobotu 15. června 2024 se z pražského Strahova vydá na různě dlouhé trasy až 3500 amatérských cyklistů.

4.7.2019 — On the public holiday, the 5th of July, the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic will open both Hrzánský Palace in Hradčany and Lichtenštejnský (Liechtenstein) Palace on Kampa Island to the public.

17.2.2019 — Since the Prague Public Transport Museum is very popular, The Prague Public Transit Co. Inc. has decided to open it to the public even in the winter months. The museum will be open every weekend until the 31st of March 2019 from 9am to 5pm. Visitors will find more than forty historic vehicles and many other exhibits here, including models, photographs, historical documents, tickets and transport plans.

19.6.2007 — Největší prezentace Prahy v USA od roku 1989 a jedna z největších prezentací České republiky ve Spojených státech vůbec probíhá od začátku června v Chicagu. Při sérii kulturních, společenských, krajanských a dalších propagačních akcí vystoupily a ještě vystoupí desítky našich umělců. Sochař David Černý například v Chicagu nainstaluje sochu Man Hanging Out, průřez svou tvorbou představí Oldřich Kulhánek, vystoupí i Ondřej Havelka a jeho Melody Makers. Pražská informační služba spolu s Czech Investem nabízí americkým zástupcům turistického ruchu Prahu i Českou republiku jako atraktivní turistický cíl, proběhne Czech-US Business Seminar a k atraktivním částem dnů patří také historická výstava „Češi v Americe“.

30.6.2011 — V neděli 3. července 2011 se v Praze bude konat již 5. ročník tradičního mezinárodního závodu v dlouhém triatlonu „Czech Bigman 2011“, který je zařazen mezi nejprestižnější závody světové série. Akce je pořádána pod záštitou náměstka primátora hl. m. Prahy Antonína Weinerta. Cyklistická část tohoto závodu povede po Strakonické ulici a vyžádá si dopravní omezení na této komunikaci.

8.7.2019 — On Saturday, the 13th of July, the oldest European streetball tournament - Prague International Streetball Cup - returns for its 17th year. The competition will take place in the heart of Prague, in Můstek in Wenceslas Square.

20.7.2017 — Dopravní podnik hl. m. Prahy (DPP) mění firmu na pronájem reklamních ploch na 300 autobusech MHD. Dne 26. června 2017 uzavřel smlouvu se společností Czech Outdoor, která tak poprvé po dvaceti letech střídá firmu Rencar. Změnu umožnilo výběrového řízení, ve kterém Czech Outdoor podal druhou nejvyšší nabídku ve výši 1,6 milionu korun.

18.9.2008 — Hlavní město Praha společně se Správou Pražského hradu pořádá 28. září od 16.00 hodin CZECH OPEN AIR – SETKÁNÍ k jedenácti stoletím české státnosti.

9.4.2008 — Petr Štěpánek dnes s dětmi z Jižního Města dnes sázel nové stromky v Milíčovském lese. Hl.m. Praha tuto část lesa vykoupila v závěru loňského roku a toto je první výsadba na mýtině vzniklé vykácením kůrovcem napadených jehličnatých monokultur. Jehličnany jsou nahrazeny původními druhy dřevin (lípou a dubem).

29.6.2020 — 'Thank you Czech technicians' is an exhibition in the National Technical Museum, which expresses their gratitude to Czechs technicians for their help during the coronavirus pandemic. The exhibition will be open in the museum building in Letná until the 30th of September.
