8.3.2019 — On Saturday, the 9th of March 2019, the reconstruction of the tram line on Vinohradská Avenue will begin on the stretch from Škrétova Street to Sudoměřská Street. The expected completion date is the 12th of July 2019. Trams will not operate in the I. P. Pavlova - Muzeum - Flora section, and buses will provide alternative routes. Road traffic will only be maintained in the direction from the city centre from Legerova Street to Jiřího z Poděbrad Square. In the next part of Vinohradská Avenue, as well as in the direction to the city centre, the following diversions and alternative routes are proposed:

10.8.2019 — The Náprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures recently opened a new exhibition 'On the banks of the Nile' ('Na břehu Nilu' in Czech), showing visitors the history of ancient Egypt and Nubia.

24.1.2019 — On Friday, the 1st of February 2019, schoolchildren in the Czech Republic will enjoy a school break. As in previous years, children will participate in project Ledová Praha by visiting monuments, museums and other centres of heritage in Prague. Over the long weekend from the 1st to the 3rd of February, families and groups of children will collect their Ledová karta, a free card that grants free or reduced admission to many museums and galleries in Prague, (such as the National Museum, the Jewish Museum in Prague and the Czech Police Museum) and other places of interest (for example, Prague Castle, Strahov Library and Loreta Praha). This year, about thirty historical and cultural centres of heritage are taking part.

30.8.2019 — At night on the 31st of August and the 1st of September, dozens of historical buildings will take part in the Night of Castles and Chateaux. This annual event began in 2010, and it presents historical monuments in an unconventional light and with an interesting programme.

23.6.2020 — Prague Music Festival ('Praha Žije Hudbou') will take place between the 25th and 27th of June. 150 musicians will take part in the fifth year of the street art festival, playing in the streets, squares and parks of Prague. 23.10.2023 — PROGRAMME SUBSIDIES FOR 2024 BY PRAGUE CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION No. 2244 OF 16 OCTOBER 2023, THE CITY OF PRAGUE HAS ANNOUNCED CITY OF PRAGUE SUBSIDIES FOR THE "TOURISM SUPPORT PROGRAMME FOR 2024" The subsidies are intended for supporting congresses, conferences and other events held within the City of Prague in the period from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.
